Cotton piqué (180 to 220 gsm) holds the stitch without distortion: a 60 × 40 mm chest embroidery is the uniform standard; above 80 mm, move to the back or the sleeve.
Positions on a polo: chest, left or right sleeve, nape (under the collar), upper back. The placket rules out a centre-chest mark.
Light polos take every thread; on a dark polo a dark logo disappears — prepare a light version of your logo.
Price follows the embroidered area, not the number of colours; a three-colour logo costs the same as a one-colour logo of the same size.
