Custom backpacks.
The custom backpack is the most durable item you can give, and the most demanding to mark. A finished bag is a volume: once assembled, it no longer has a single flat surface a machine can freely reach.

Choosing your custom backpacks
/ 01
Carry system
Padded straps, a ventilated back panel and a top grab handle separate a bag people keep from a bag people store away. A sternum strap earns its place as soon as the bag is loaded daily.
/ 02
The laptop sleeve
This is the criterion that decides professional use. Check the stated screen size and, above all, whether the sleeve is suspended — meaning it does not touch the base of the bag, which protects the machine when you set it down.
/ 03
A single markable area
Seams, zips, linings and webbing take up almost every surface. In practice, what remains is the front pocket and sometimes a side panel. That is what separates a backpack from a tote: here the constraint is not the technique but access.
Which marking technique for custom backpacks?
On a backpack, embroidery only happens on a pocket the hoop can reach, never through several layers. The two reliable routes are a patch — embroidered, woven or PVC — fixed to the front panel, and transfer, which follows a slightly curved surface. A woven label sewn into a seam is the discreet answer when the bag should not shout your name.
