Choosing your custom hoodies

The hood

A lined hood, cut in two or three panels, stands up and frames the face; a single-layer hood collapses onto the shoulders. Drawcords run through metal eyelets or plain hemmed openings: metal is the detail that separates a lasting model from a promotional one.

The kangaroo pocket

It occupies the lower chest and its top seam sets the lower limit of any front mark. Artwork straddling it folds and cracks at the thickness step: keep the bottom edge of the logo above that seam.

The upper back is hidden

Worn flat, the hood covers the first few centimetres of the back. Any large back graphic must therefore sit lower than it would on a crewneck, or the hood fabric will crop it dead.

Which marking technique for custom hoodies?

The hoodie takes every technique, provided you respect its relief: chest embroidery to the left of the pocket, screen print or transfer for wide artwork placed below the hood line. The hood itself takes small-format embroidery on one side, and the drawcord can be swapped for one in your colours — a customisation unique to this piece.
