Custom workwear: the guide for your team

From the T-shirt to the winter jacket, the workwear you can customise, the technique that suits each fabric, where the logo goes and the budget, with the models and prices from our catalogue.

Custom workwear hanging outside a woodworking workshop: a white T-shirt, a charcoal grey fleece and a navy softshell, each with the TKNP logo on the chest, above stacked planks and sawdust.

Custom workwear: the guide for your team

Custom workwear is chosen in layers, from the T-shirt to the winter jacket, all bearing the company logo on the chest. On tknp.io, for 50 units, the B&C Perfect Pro T-shirt with a DTF transfer costs €9.99 excluding VAT and the Result Polartherm fleece embroidered on the chest €20.15 excluding VAT, for guidance only. The minimum for marked garments is 10 units per model, shipped in 10 working days as standard.

On a building site or outside a workshop, your team is the first sign your customers and passers-by see. An outfit with the same logo, from the first to the last tradesperson, shows how serious the company is before the first word is exchanged, and it puts your name to work on every job.

This guide covers workwear worn every day, with no particular standard: team clothing for the site, the workshop or outdoor work. We do not make personal protective equipment (PPE); a job that requires it is a different trade from ours.

All prices quoted are our prices, read on 19 October 2026 on the page of each model: per-unit prices before VAT and shipping, marking included for one position, most affordable colour, standard lead time. The larger sizes and some colours add a small surcharge, shown when you order. For guidance only: these prices can change, and each model's page always shows the current price.

Which workwear should you customise for a team?

Workwear is put together in layers that follow the seasons: a T-shirt or a polo for the workshop and warm days, a sweatshirt, a fleece or a bodywarmer in between seasons, a softshell or a padded jacket for winter outdoors, and work trousers. Here are eight models from our catalogue, one per use:

GarmentModelWhat it bringsFor 50 units, marking included (excl. VAT)

From one layer to the next, keep the same logo in the same place: for example a white T-shirt with a navy logo, a charcoal grey fleece and a navy softshell with a white logo, all marked on the chest. The Atlantic softshell is a men's cut; the T-shirt, the polo, the sweatshirt and the bodywarmer are unisex. To understand what a softshell brings or to choose between fleece and microfleece, our guides cover each fabric. Our workwear range brings together the full selection.

Which marking technique for workwear?

The marking technique for workwear is chosen according to the fabric. Embroidery goes on the polo, the sweatshirt, the fleece, the bodywarmer, the softshell and the padded jacket: embroidery lasts about ten years, and it is the only technique offered online on the Polartherm fleece. Softshell printing, offered on the softshell, the bodywarmer and the padded jacket, reproduces every colour of the logo on a technical fabric. On the T-shirt and the trousers, DTF transfer or screen printing does the job.

What French speakers call "flocage" on workwear usually means a transfer applied with heat. With us, that is the DTF transfer, on T-shirts, polos, sweatshirts and trousers; our article on textile flocking explains the differences.

One simple rule keeps the outfit neat over time: one technique on each garment, never more than two markings.

Embroidery or printing: which costs less on workwear?

On the Atlantic softshell, embroidery costs less than softshell printing at every tier from 10 to 250 units, with the gap falling below €1 from 50 units (90 cents at 50, 42 cents at 250). On the Perfect Pro T-shirt, it is the other way round: at 10 units, DTF transfer and embroidery cost the same to within one cent, then DTF drops well below embroidery from 25; screen printing equals DTF at 50, then goes below it from 100.

Embroidery remains the safe choice for a compact logo on the chest; softshell printing takes over, front and back, for a very colourful logo or the chest badge and large back name pairing. How embroidery looks, stitch by stitch, is explained in our guide to embroidery on clothing.

Where should the logo go on workwear?

The chest and back pairing is the classic for field outfits. On the chest, an 8 to 10 cm logo is read up close, by the customer whose hand you shake; on the back of a jacket, a softshell or a heavy sweatshirt, the company name in large letters, 25 to 30 cm and in a single colour, is read from afar on the site. That is the advice of our chest badge, name on the back inspiration, on the Atlantic softshell, in softshell printing front and back.

Three details make the difference:

  • The back repeats the name, it does not tell a different story from the chest.
  • A light thread on a dark garment makes embroidery stand out from a distance.
  • No phone number embroidered in small print: unreadable at a metre, it weighs the logo down.

Marking on the sleeve is done on quotation. The other possible placements and their sizes are detailed in our article on logo placement.

Which fabric stands up to the outdoors and to washing?

For workshop workwear, choose a cotton that washes at 60 °C, like the Perfect Pro T-shirt and the Skill Pro polo, and the T-shirt even goes in the tumble dryer. For outdoor work, choose a three-layer polyester softshell with a breathable membrane, like the Atlantic, or a water-repellent nylon, like the Reset bodywarmer.

The Set In sweatshirt, with its combed cotton outer face and the polyester yarn placed between its two layers, is described as stable in the wash by its product page: it is the middle layer that keeps its shape under a jacket. For a T-shirt that copes better with the workshop, our guide to the heavyweight T-shirt helps you choose the weight.

How much does custom workwear cost?

A three-layer outfit, a Perfect Pro T-shirt with a DTF transfer, a Polartherm fleece and an Atlantic softshell, both embroidered on the chest, comes to €66.71 excluding VAT per person when you order 50 garments of each kind. The price per person falls as the team grows:

Garments of each kindThree-layer outfit, per person (excl. VAT)
10€74.68
25€69.79
50€66.71
100€62.46
250€57.81

Each model has its own price tier: 50 T-shirts, 50 fleeces and 50 softshells are counted separately. On the other hand, the sizes and colours of one model, marked identically, add up towards the tier.

From how many garments, and how long does it take?

On tknp.io, marked workwear is ordered from 10 units of each model, and those 10 freely mix sizes and colours. To check a size or a fabric before the run, you can order one blank garment on its own: €35.28 excluding VAT for the Atlantic softshell.

As standard, the order is customised and shipped in 10 working days. On rush, it leaves in 5 working days. On each model's page, the lead time can also be chosen: one week for 10% more, two weeks at the base price, four weeks for 5% less. The basket shows the estimated delivery date, we deliver to 32 European countries, and the print proof is approved online in a few moments. To equip the team before winter or the start of a site, work from that date and keep some margin.

Which sizes should you plan for a site team?

Check the largest size in your team before you settle the outfit. The Atlantic softshell runs from S to 6XL, the Perfect Pro T-shirt and the Skill Pro polo from S to 4XL, the Reset bodywarmer from XS to 4XL, and the Velilla trousers from size 34 to size 56; the Set In sweatshirt, the Polartherm fleece and the Black Compass jacket stop at 3XL.

Ask each person for their size rather than guessing it, and note it with their first name for distribution. For a team order without size mistakes, follow our method for collecting sizes.

Comparing outfits without waiting for a quote

On tknp.io, each product page shows the marking-included price for every tier between 10 and 1,000 units: you compare the embroidered fleece, bodywarmer and softshell for the whole team, then order online. A quote remains available for what the product page does not cover, such as sleeve marking or a patch.

And if your crew asks for the site sweatshirt or cap for the weekend, the same logo becomes the company's merch: our Construction & industry page brings together a selection of custom clothing for field trades.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can polyester workwear be embroidered?

Yes. Result's Polartherm fleece, in polyester, can be embroidered, and that is even the only technique offered online on this model; Pen Duick's Atlantic softshell, in polyester and elastane, can be embroidered too. On these technical fabrics, softshell printing is the other option when the model offers it.

How long does embroidery last on workwear?

Embroidery lasts about ten years, enough to keep up with an outfit worn every day. On tknp.io, it can be ordered online on the T-shirt, polo, sweatshirt, fleece, bodywarmer, softshell, padded jacket and work trousers.

Should the whole team order the same garment?

No: everyone can have their own size and, on the same model, several colours with the same marking count together towards the tier. Changing model, however, starts a new count, with its own minimum of 10.

How much does an embroidered softshell with the company logo cost?

On tknp.io, Pen Duick's Atlantic softshell, with an 8 x 10 cm chest embroidery, costs €39.72 excluding VAT per unit for 10 units, €36.57 for 50 and €31.96 for 250, excluding shipping, base colour, based on our prices taken on 19 October 2026, for guidance only. The team can mix sizes and colours to reach the minimum of 10 softshells.
