Choosing your custom suits

How the jacket is built
A canvassed jacket carries an inner canvas, stitched in, that moulds to the chest and improves with wear. A fused jacket, more common and more affordable, glues that structure to the cloth: it hangs straight at first and takes repeated machine washing badly. This family is dry-cleaned, not tumbled.

Tie and bow tie
Ties are made in silk or woven polyester. The motif is woven in rather than applied: the design is part of the cloth, so it neither flakes nor peels. A small repeated logo in a contrasting thread holds an institutional register that printing does not reach.

What gets marked, and what does not
On a suit jacket, a wide mark is a contradiction: embroider an initial or a discreet chest logo at most, or work on the lining and the buttons instead. A shirt takes a small motif at the chest or the cuff, and a collar that keeps its shape thanks to removable stays beats a soft one.

- Fine embroidery is the technique of this register: small format, thread tonal or contrasting, set at the chest or the cuff. On a lined jacket the embroiderer needs access behind the cloth — the mark therefore goes on before assembly, or on an unlined area. For accessories, weaving replaces printing altogether: the material carries the design.
- What is the lead time for custom suits?
- Customisation in 10 working days as standard, 5 express or 20 economy, then 1 to 2 days of transport in France. You choose your lead time when you order.
- How do I send my logo?
- You place it yourself in the online studio: position, size and instant preview. A vector file gives the best result, but a high-resolution PNG works in most cases.
