Custom embroidered t-shirts for associations: the price for 10, 25 or 50 t-shirts
On tknp.io, a custom Creator 2.0 t-shirt embroidered on the chest (8 × 10 cm) with the association's logo costs €11.39 excluding VAT for 10, €10.64 for 25 and €10.32 for 50 (€113.90, €266.00 or €516.00 for the run), our indicative prices of 19 October 2026.
In short:
- For 10 Creator 2.0 t-shirts, an embroidered t-shirt costs just 1 cent more than with a DTF transfer, and €7.64 less than with screen printing.
- For 50 of the same t-shirt, embroidery costs €1.80 more per t-shirt than print, DTF or screen printing, which is €90.00 excluding VAT on the run.
- Orders start from 10 embroidered t-shirts per model, with sizes and colours combined, and ship in 10 working days at standard speed; for embroidery, pick a t-shirt of at least 180 g/m².
- With the tknp.io Store presale, each member pays for their own t-shirt: the association pays nothing upfront.
An embroidered t-shirt is the kind of association merch volunteers are still wearing long after the event: a raised logo on the chest that says "our association" at a glance. In committee meetings, the same questions come up in the same order: how much for 10, 25 or 50 people, is embroidery worth the gap with print, and who pays upfront. Here are the answers to the cent, with our prices recorded on 19 October 2026.
How much does a custom embroidered t-shirt cost for an association?
On tknp.io, a Stanley/Stella Creator 2.0 t-shirt embroidered with the association's logo, on the chest at 8 × 10 cm, costs €11.39 excluding VAT for 10, €10.64 for 25 and €10.32 for 50. The table gives, for each technique you can order online on this t-shirt, the unit price and then the budget for the whole run:
| Creator 2.0, one position | For 10 | For 25 | For 50 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Embroidery 8 × 10 cm | €11.39, so €113.90 | €10.64, so €266.00 | €10.32, so €516.00 |
| DTF transfer A6 | €11.38, so €113.80 | €9.35, so €233.75 | €8.52, so €426.00 |
| One-colour screen print | €19.03, so €190.30 | €11.48, so €287.00 | €8.52, so €426.00 |
| Blank, no decoration | €6.95, so €69.50 | €6.65, so €166.25 | €6.43, so €321.50 |
These are our prices excluding VAT, taken from the Creator 2.0 product page on 19 October 2026, for a base colour in a standard size and the standard two-week production time, shipping not included. They are guide prices and can move before you order: the binding price is the one shown in your cart or on your quote.
Embroidery or print: what price gap for 10, 25 and 50 t-shirts?
On the Creator 2.0, embroidery costs the same as a DTF transfer for 10 t-shirts, give or take 1 cent, then the gap widens up to 50 t-shirts: €1.29 at 25, €1.80 at 50. For 10, the embroidered run comes to €113.90 excluding VAT, 10 cents more than with a DTF transfer (€113.80) and €76.40 less than with a one-colour screen print (€190.30).
For 25, the gap with DTF reaches €32.25 on the run, but embroidery remains cheaper than screen printing: €266.00 excluding VAT against €287.00. For 50, transfer and screen printing both drop to €8.52 excluding VAT, and the embroidered t-shirt, at €10.32, costs €90.00 more for all 50.
For a small group, our prices barely separate embroidery and transfer: the look decides. For a large run, embroidery has a cost, and the choice comes down to how the t-shirt will be worn.
When is embroidery worth it compared with print?
Embroidery is worth it for a simple logo worn on the chest, on a t-shirt members will keep for several seasons. Thread gives the logo a texture and a sheen that ink does not have, and our embroidery page rates its wash resistance as excellent, on a par with screen printing and a notch above DTF transfer. The texture and durability of thread are explained in embroidery on clothing, explained.
Print remains the better choice in three cases:
- a photo, a gradient or very small text: thread cannot render photo gradients, and text under 5 mm loses legibility in embroidery;
- a large design on the back: we decorate both positions of a t-shirt with a single technique, two positions at most, so a printed back calls for a printed chest;
- 50 t-shirts or more on a tight budget: on the Creator 2.0, print saves €1.80 per t-shirt at 50 units.
For the logo to work in thread, keep a version that reads well at a small size, with few solid colours and a strong contrast with the t-shirt, such as navy thread on an ecru t-shirt: the association's brand guidelines set that simple version and its colours.
Which t-shirt should you choose for embroidery?
For embroidery, choose a t-shirt of at least 180 g/m²: that is our advice. The B&C #E150, at 145 g/m², is too light for embroidery: keep it for print.
The Stanley/Stella Creator 2.0 ticks the boxes for an association t-shirt: 180 g/m² of combed organic cotton, GOTS and OEKO-TEX certified, a unisex fit from XXS to 5XL and 58 colours. One model therefore fits every member, and all sizes count towards the same price tier.
Two other t-shirts from the catalogue take embroidery well, one for a tighter budget, the other for a heavier look:
| Embroidered t-shirt 8 × 10 cm | Fabric and weight | For 10 | For 25 | For 50 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| B&C #E190 | 100% cotton, 185 g/m² | €8.01 | €7.43 | €7.20 |
| Stanley/Stella Creator 2.0 | organic cotton, 180 g/m² | €11.39 | €10.64 | €10.32 |
| Stanley/Stella Blaster 2.0 | organic cotton, 200 g/m², oversize fit | €15.29 | €14.38 | €13.94 |
Our indicative prices per t-shirt, excluding VAT, taken from the product pages on 19 October 2026: one position, base colour, standard lead time, shipping excluded. For 25 embroidered t-shirts, the #E190 saves €80.25 excluding VAT compared with the Creator 2.0 (€185.75 against €266.00), and the Blaster 2.0 gives a loose, more fashion-led fit for €359.50 excluding VAT for 25. The #E190 and other team t-shirts are compared use by use in our guide to custom t-shirts for companies.
What is the minimum order for embroidered t-shirts?
On tknp.io, an order of embroidered t-shirts starts at 10 units per model; sizes and colours can be combined, with the same decoration across the run. On the same model, different colours count together for the price tier. A blank t-shirt, without decoration, can be ordered from a single unit.
Three association budgets, to the cent
Three typical situations, calculated on our prices excluding VAT of 19 October 2026, with a logo embroidered on the chest, excluding shipping and the technical and administrative fees that verified business accounts do not pay.
For 10 volunteers of a neighbourhood association: €113.90 excluding VAT in Creator 2.0
Dressing 10 volunteers in an embroidered Creator 2.0 costs €113.90 excluding VAT, 10 cents more than with a DTF transfer and €76.40 less than with screen printing. With the B&C #E190, the same embroidered run comes to €80.10 excluding VAT.
For a badminton club with 25 members: €266.00 excluding VAT in Creator 2.0
For 25 members, 25 embroidered Creator 2.0 t-shirts cost €266.00 excluding VAT, or €10.64 per person. The same t-shirt with a DTF transfer would come to €233.75: a €32.25 gap for the whole club, €1.29 per member, for a raised logo everyone will wear to tournaments, in the stands and around town.
For a sports association with 50 members: €516.00 excluding VAT in Creator 2.0
For 50 members, 50 embroidered Creator 2.0 t-shirts cost €516.00 excluding VAT, against €426.00 with a DTF transfer or screen printing: €90.00 more for embroidery, €1.80 per member. On a tight budget, the embroidered #E190 brings the run down to €360.00 excluding VAT. And if each member pays for their own t-shirt, the gap no longer weighs on the association's funds at all.
How do you get members to pay for the embroidered t-shirts?
With the tknp.io Store presale, every member books and pays online for their embroidered t-shirt, and the association pays nothing upfront: production starts once the campaign closes, priced on the total volume reserved. The "10, 25 or 50?" question is settled by the reservations, with no need to guess how many t-shirts to order. The t-shirt has a threshold set for the campaign: below it, the run is made with another technique where possible, with no change in price; otherwise every reservation is refunded in full.
Opening a Store and publishing a campaign is free, and a campaign runs for 7 to 21 days. Then allow about three weeks between closing and delivery, each t-shirt in a bag with its owner's name. When members pay more than our price, the difference fills the association's pot: what a t-shirt sale raises is worked out tier by tier in a dedicated guide, and the full process is on our presale page.
How long does it take to receive embroidered t-shirts?
On tknp.io, your embroidered t-shirts are decorated and shipped within 10 working days at standard speed; with rush, the order leaves within 5 working days. When should you order? The cart shows the estimated delivery date: for a tournament, a party or a general meeting on a fixed date, check that it falls before the event, leaving a margin to gather sizes and have the committee approve the logo. For a presale, also add the campaign's 7 to 21 days, then allow about three weeks before handing out the t-shirts.
What does the price of an embroidered t-shirt include?
On tknp.io, the price of an embroidered t-shirt covers the t-shirt and its embroidery in one position, in a base colour and a standard size, excluding shipping. Our prices exclude VAT: an association that cannot reclaim VAT pays the price including VAT, at 20% in mainland France. Larger sizes and some colours are slightly more expensive from the brand, and the surcharge appears as soon as you select them. Our price grids count a single position: a second one, on the back for example, is priced on top. A verified business account pays no technical or administrative fees; delivery, for its part, covers 32 European countries.
The association's embroidered logo, seen and approved before the run
The association's logo goes on the chest of the Creator 2.0 in the designer, opened with the Customise online button on the product page, with embroidery selected. The proof then arrives online, within moments: the committee checks it on screen and approves it, rather than through a string of emails, before the first stitch is sewn.
Frequently asked questions
How much do 100 embroidered t-shirts cost for an association?
On the Stanley/Stella Creator 2.0, 100 t-shirts embroidered on the chest at 8 × 10 cm cost €9.13 excluding VAT each, or €913.00 excluding VAT, at our indicative prices of 19 October 2026 (one position, base colour, shipping excluded). With a one-colour screen print, the same run comes to €736.00 excluding VAT: at this volume, embroidery costs €1.77 more per t-shirt.
Do you need to request a quote for embroidered t-shirts?
No, there is no need to request a separate one for the Creator 2.0, the #E190 or the Blaster 2.0: on these t-shirts, embroidery is priced and ordered online from the model's product page, from 10 units, and the price is shown in the cart. A quote request is for special cases, such as a patch or DTG printing on the Creator 2.0, with a reply within 24 hours.
How do you kit out new members who join during the season?
By grouping new arrivals: an embroidered t-shirt is ordered in runs of at least 10 units per model, any mix of sizes and colours. Wait until you have ten new members, or relaunch a campaign on your tknp.io Store; the t-shirt you already designed stays in your account's wardrobe, ready to reorder.
Is it cheaper to order embroidered t-shirts 4 weeks ahead?
Yes: on tknp.io, each t-shirt's product page offers a 4-week production time, at 5% below the base price (the 2-week one), and a 1-week production time, at 10% above it. For a date known well in advance, the start of the season or an annual party, planning ahead lowers the bill for embroidered t-shirts.
