Seminar merch: 8 ideas your team will actually use

Eight custom merch ideas for a company seminar, from the t-shirt to the embroidered hoodie and the welcome tote bag, with our prices for 50 attendees and the right lead time.

Three colleagues wear their company's seminar merch, ecru sweatshirts and navy beanies branded marble, mid video game on a green sofa.

Seminar merch: 8 ideas your team will actually use

For a company seminar, choose something people will want to wear afterwards: a t-shirt for the activity, a sweatshirt or a hoodie for the evenings, a bucket hat or a beanie depending on the season, and a tote bag for the welcome kit. On tknp.io, allow about €8.50 excluding VAT for a printed t-shirt and €32 excluding VAT for an embroidered hoodie, for 50 attendees.

Conference swag still brings to mind the pen and the mug left on every chair at registration. Clothing merch comes out of the suitcase and gets worn the next weekend; our guide to end-of-year corporate gifts explains why a gift people wear is the one that lasts. Here are eight ideas for a seminar, with the moment each one is for and our prices on tknp.io.

8 custom merch ideas for a company seminar

1. The activity t-shirt

The t-shirt is worn during the highlight of the seminar: the workshop, the team game, the group photo. The Creator 2.0, a Stanley/Stella t-shirt in 180 g/m² organic cotton, costs about €8.50 excluding VAT for 50 pieces with a design printed in DTF or one-colour screen printing. Adding the seminar's name and date turns it into a souvenir of the event.

2. The crewneck sweatshirt for the evenings

When the temperature drops, the crewneck sweatshirt takes over, for the evening or the trip home. The Stanley/Stella Roller (280 g/m²) costs about €22 excluding VAT for 50 pieces, with a logo embroidered on the chest. Understated, it works with office clothes as well as at the weekend.

3. The event hoodie

The hoodie is the gift people hold on to: it is thicker, and it gets worn for weeks after the seminar. The Cruiser 2.0 (350 g/m²) costs about €32 excluding VAT for 50 pieces, embroidered on the chest. If the budget is tight, give it instead of the t-shirt rather than as well: one great garment leaves a stronger impression than three average ones.

4. The bucket hat for outdoor activities

For a summer seminar with outdoor activities, the bucket hat keeps the sun off and comes along on holiday afterwards. The Stanley/Stella Bucket Hat, in two sizes (S/M and M/L), costs about €13 excluding VAT for 50 pieces with an embroidered logo. With only two sizes, gathering them is quick.

5. The beanie for winter seminars

In the mountains or for a December seminar, the beanie replaces the bucket hat. The Stanley/Stella Fisherman Beanie, one size fits all, costs about €13 excluding VAT for 50 pieces, embroidered. Like the tote bag, it needs no sizes, which keeps the order simple.

6. The welcome kit tote bag

The tote bag welcomes attendees: it holds the programme, a water bottle and the activity t-shirt. The Stanley/Stella Tote Bag (300 g/m²) costs about €7 excluding VAT for 50 pieces, printed in DTF or screen printing. The idea is close to the welcome pack for new starters, in an event version.

7. The polo shirt for the organising team

Organisers and speakers need to be spotted at a glance. A polo shirt in a different colour from the attendees' is enough to tell them apart. The team is small: the Stanley/Stella Prepster 2.0 (240 g/m²) costs about €20 excluding VAT for 10 pieces, the minimum per model, embroidered on the chest (about €18 for 50).

8. The fleece for outdoor days

For a hike or a day outdoors in winter, the fleece is the most useful garment of the seminar. The Stanley/Stella Trekker (300 g/m²) costs about €51.50 excluding VAT for 10 pieces and €47.50 for 50, embroidered: a real gift, best kept for small groups or leadership seminars. Our guide to fleece explains what sets it apart from a microfleece.

Printing or embroidery: what works for a seminar?

One logo per garment, in a single technique, is enough for most seminars: embroidery on sweatshirts, hoodies, polo shirts, bucket hats and beanies, and DTF or screen printing on t-shirts and the tote bag. The seminar's name and date can go in a second spot, on the back: it adds to the listed price, which covers one spot.

A one-colour logo often looks better than people expect, and it costs less than a very detailed one. Alternating garment and logo colours works well across a range: a black or navy logo on an ecru garment, an ecru logo on a black one. Our guide to embroidery on clothing shows what thread can do on each item.

How long before the seminar should you order?

For a direct order, allow about four weeks between the decision and handing out the garments: a week to gather sizes, a few days to approve the design, then production and delivery. On tknp.io, an order ships in 10 working days as standard and in 5 with the rush option, which changes the price, and the estimated delivery date is shown in the basket.

For 50 attendees, avoid gathering sizes by hand: our article on collecting sizes covers the pitfalls. An event kit can also go through a pre-order opened on your tknp.io Store: each attendee picks their size online, and the run is produced in one go. If the company is giving the kit away, it picks the option where it pays itself: attendees reserve their size online, and the run is invoiced to the company. In that case, allow four to six weeks: 7 to 21 days of campaign, then about three weeks until delivery.

The seminar budget, with no bad surprises

On tknp.io, the listed price includes printing or embroidery and goes down with quantity: each garment's page shows its price from 10 to 1,000 pieces before you ask for anything. For 50 attendees, a welcome kit with the t-shirt and the tote bag comes to about €15.50 excluding VAT per person, before any extra for larger sizes; add the embroidered hoodie and it comes to about €47.50 excluding VAT.

A company whose SIREN number (the French business ID) is verified joins the Bronze tier of the pro account, with 3% off everything, printing and embroidery included, and technical and administrative fees are waived for verified pro accounts. For a tailor-made project, a priced quote comes back within 24 working hours.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What clothing should you give at a company seminar?

Something people will wear afterwards: a t-shirt for the activity, a sweatshirt or a hoodie for the evenings, plus a bucket hat in summer or a beanie in winter. On tknp.io, the printed Creator 2.0 t-shirt costs about €8.50 excluding VAT and the embroidered Cruiser 2.0 hoodie about €32 excluding VAT, for 50 pieces (prices listed on 4 October 2026, indicative).

How long before a seminar should you order the merch?

About four weeks for a direct order: a week for sizes, a few days for the design, then production and delivery; on tknp.io, the order ships in 10 working days as standard and in 5 with the rush option. With a pre-order on the tknp.io Store, allow four to six weeks: 7 to 21 days of campaign, then about three weeks until delivery.

Can you order merch for a seminar of fewer than 10 people?

Yes, from ten pieces per model on tknp.io, sizes and colours mixed. For a group of six, order ten of the same model: the four extra will go to speakers or to the next people who join.

Which technique suits a seminar hoodie?

Embroidery, for a chest logo that lasts: on tknp.io, the embroidered Cruiser 2.0 hoodie costs about €32 excluding VAT for 50 pieces. Its product page also offers screen printing and DTF or DTG printing, at a similar price.

Do companies get a discount on tknp.io?

Yes: an organisation whose SIREN number is verified joins the Bronze tier of the pro account, with 3% off everything, printing and embroidery included. The next tiers depend on orders over the last 12 months, starting at 6% from €10,000.
